The following landscape series was painted, for the most part, in the Chassahowitzka National Preserve in Hernando and Citrus Counties in Florida, USA. The scenes depicted are those of a truly natural Florida as it has looked through the centuries.
The area was preserved where a unique balance of salt and fresh water combine to offer a location for both of those eco-systems to work together. More recently, progress is taking itself too close and certain ecologiocal issues are developing from government intrusions. (See The Transparent Forest Series)
